Honouring a Life: Planning Meaningful End-of-Life Ceremonies
A Step-by-Step, How-To Workshop
Whether you’re preparing to honour a loved one or thinking ahead about your own wishes, this workshop offers space for reflection, guidance, and practical support.
We’ll walk you through the different types of end-of-life ceremonies — funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life — and explore all the elements that make them meaningful, from location, speakers, and music to storytelling, rituals, and final farewells. You’ll consider how you’d like the gathering to feel, which traditions or personal touches matter most, and how to make the process as thoughtful and stress-free as possible.
You’ll leave with simple tools for capturing memories, clarifying wishes, and a plan to help your loved ones create ceremonies that feel personal, grounded, and full of love.
